PRIVATE LESSONS

Please email me your fall lesson requests based on the times below. Please provide more than one option if possible. My policy is to try and hold your time over from last year, but that is not always possible with longer lesson amounts.

***Fall lessons begin on September 2, 2021. In-person and virtual lessons are offered.***

Group lessons will be in-person at the Amazing Grace Spiritual Center (see below for your child’s assignment). Schedule here.

Cello X rehearsals are on periodic Fridays at my house. Schedule here.

Summer Jam 2021 Info!

We’re back! Join us at the Phinney Ridge Center (PNA Center) as we perform as part of their Food Truck Fridays Series! We perform on 7/16 at 6:00-8:00 and 7/30 at 4:00-6:00, and will play all of your favorite tunes from Beethoven to Lin-Manuel Miranda and from Harry Potter to Moana! Look for us under the performer’s tent and remember to sample the many wonderful eats from the Food Truck Vendors! See you there!!

Rehearsals are at my house on the following dates. Please bring a stand and cello stool.
- 7/15 at 5:00-7:00
- 7/29 at 5:00-7:00
- Note: Cello Jello members will be dismissed at 6:00.
Performance dates are:
- 7/16 at 6:00-8:00 (5:40 arrival)
- 7/30 at 4:00-6:00 (3:40 arrival)
Where: Phinney Ridge Center under the performer’s tent.
What students should bring: cello, stand, busking folder, clothespins, rockstop, chair or stool, water.
Parking will be limited, so please plan accordingly.

When: 6/13 at 2:00PM (1:00 arrival)
Where: Greenlake United Methodist Church
What to bring:
1. Cello
1. Stool
2. Music (Cello Phil members)
3. Mask
Attire: Something nice.
Parking: The church has parking or park on the street.
Invite your family and friends! The venue is large with plenty of space to socially distance. Please wear masks.

Cellopalooza in Cyberspace 2021 – info!

When: Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 2:00-3:00 (1:45 arrival).
Where: Your home.
Pre-concert tasks:
1. Add the Vimeo app to your Smart TV. If you do not have a Smart TV, add the Vimeo app to your computer.
2. Add the ‘Seattle Suzuki Cello‘ channel to your favorite channels on Vimeo. The concert will be debuted there. Note: the video won’t unlock until shortly before the concert.
3. Tell you friends to tune in!
Day-of concert tasks:
1. Log in to the Zoom Meeting at 1:45. The Zoom Meeting is for pre-and post-concert talk. It is NOT for watching the concert – you will do that on your television or computer through Vimeo.
1. Please stay for the entire concert, and give each piece your full attention! The concert will last an hour.
2. After the concert, please return to the Zoom Meeting for acclamations and congratulations!
